This empowering brochure announces the school’s desire to have bully free schools. It includes a message to parents and emphasizes the importance of commitment and collaboration (teamwork). The brochure presents a definition of bullying, a sampling of bullying behaviors, as well as a sampling of warning signs that a child is being bullied or is a bully. It also provides recommendations for parents of victims and for parents of bullies. In addition, information is provided for parents to share with their child who is a bystander. A list of Bully Free Classroom rules is also provided. It is sent to all parents through the students and/or given to parents at meetings.
